I wish to refer to your previous post, on the genealogical quest. For several years I worked on a similar project: I'm proud of it and have enjoyed the process. However,the cousins encountered during my work were very disappointing: cold and indifferent to my efforts. Hopefully, this won't be the case with you. Wish you a successful genealogical quest!

ReplyDeleteLinda, Great Polish joke! I've seen similar ones about blondes, southerners, etc. Language can be funny! Some older comedians really knew how to use it with their acts. Designer sinks...wild and innovative. My wife would be all over some of those designs... As for the German dance...I'm always impressed by anyone who can dance, has a sense of rhythm, can sing, etc. I have none of those skills! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

ReplyDeleteThe Doc Childre quote -- the fact is, the human brain makes snap judgments all of the time, we can't help it. We make them subconsciously faster than our conscious mind can catch them. The secret is to grab them as soon as they are made, and look at them with logic, figuring out which parts of them may be correct, and which are not.
