Mid-Week Pick-me-up
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Stray Kitten Interrupts a News Broadcast and Immediately Gets Put on TV
Bloodhound Puppy Sworn in as Police Officer
Love Never Forgets: An Alzheimer's Love Story
James Melton Sings - Don't Fence Me In - 1945
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Try to say nothing negative about yourself. For 3 days. For 45 days. For 3 months. See what happens in your life. - Yoko Ono
Hi Linda, I really loved the videos. Thankyou, your choices are so thoughtful. Same thing with the inspirationals, and Raphael's artwork is very special. Have a good week xx
Coucou Linda, Après une petite semaine de vacances je reviens ... pas facile de trouver la cadence ! Toujours un plaisir de te retrouver et de voir tes jolis posts. Belle journée. Bises de haute Provence
Animals bring so much joy to our lives. But that wee bloodhound is gonna take some training before he's ready to go police anything! Cute, though! Love all the Salmansohn material, but you knew that! Thank you! Have a great day.
Hello, your videos have made me happy again. I often watch your movies and I do not always respond but know that I see them. The many talks are also great. Best regards, Helma
Thank you for my favourites Raphael Vavasseur Art, that last picture is delightful in blue. Some wonderful sayings here and as always I wish I could watch the videos. Keep well and thanks for making me smile, Diane
Hello Linda, and happy midweek wishes to you. Another lovely selection for us. I was touched by the Alzheimer's video, it is such a cruel disease so it was a wonderful to see the love ... just wonderful.
Very nice videos. I was a little disappointed I could not get the sound on the don't fence me in one. Great quotes and art work. Have a blessed evening. Madeline
Hi Linda! The video of the couple dealing with Alzheimers was really touching. They are so happy, and the smile on the woman's face is so radiant! I hope I can be like that if I ever face a hardship like that. Not say anything negative about myself...that's hard! I tend to trash-talk myself quite a bit. I should take up that challenge! Blessings, Ceil
A kitten, a puppy, a love story & some sweet music - four great videos. Love today's quotes and that gorgeous artwork, too! I'm always happy to visit your peaceful place, Linda! Thank you!!
Linda, It's hard not to like a little kitten or a puppy isn't it! That Alzheimer's story is sweet but it's a tough issue for folks to deal with... It's great that much more work is being done to find a cure or to lessen it's impact on folks. I must admit that although James Melton had a lovely voice, I prefer the good old cowboy version by Roy Rogers. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Count your blessings and mental health go hand in hand. Two of my grandparents suffered from dementia in their old age. I must appreciate what I have now. You never know what the future may hold.
Lovely snippets of meaningful moments in the video of the sweet couple - how remarkable a love they share!
Hope the cute kitty finds a home, soon. It reminds me of our beloved and very much missed Prince Richard.
So true about setting goals, no matter one's age - dreams, too. I like Yono Ono's quote and will try to do as she suggests and see what happens! It can only be good, right?
Thanks for sharing, Linda and hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
Linda, these are beautiful! Thank you the uplifting goodies. I especially liked the "try not to say anything negative about yourself." Sometimes I do that jokingly or truly. I've printed it out and am making it my directive. How exciting to make this change! Thanks for being part of my life's journey, Linda. xx
Don't fence me in -- what a lovely song with lovely words. Need to write them down. I loved the dog and the cat videos -- don't know which one was more funnier; I guess the dog one. Absolutely golden goodies that you have here.
Try to say nothing negative about yourself. For 3 days. For 45 days. For 3 months. See what happens in your life. - Yoko Ono <-- I will try, Linda ..but this is a difficult thing to do for me! :)
Hi, Linda! I'm enjoying"Don't Fence Me In" as I write this. That song always spoke to me. It's one reason I wanted to go west. and I was among my new-leafed cottonwood trees this afternoon. I love the wide open spaces. The videos of the kitty and puppy were darling, and the alzheimer's video positive and hopeful. I've been past that brain building in Vegas so many times. I'm always trying to photograph it from a bus or car. It is something to see! Have a good one, my special Montreal friend!
