Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Dolphins Help Fishermen Catch Fish
Toddler Without Feet Gets Puppy Without a Paw
Vintage House 1950's
Reunited: Daughter Finds Homeless Dad Online After 20 Years - BBC News (this video is longer than the ones that I usually share...it is 8 minutes in length, but I found it so touching I wanted to post it here. You may need a tissue but trust me, this is beautiful!)
Eastwell Manor Hotel and Spa Ashford, Kent, England
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Don't let what you can't do interfere with what you can do.
Don't become preoccupied with your child's academic ability but instead teach them to sit with those sitting alone. Teach them to be kind. Teach them to offer their help. Teach them to be a friend to the lonely. Teach them to encourage others. Teach them to think about other people. Teach them to share. Teach them to look for the good. This is how they'll change the world.
How lovely are today's shares, Linda! I especially like the pretty Zen Shin sentiment regarding flowers, and the Sherri Bishop sentiment about awakening excited to bloom in our own special way! (and even the little WOO HOOOOOO! after! LOL What a heartwarming video with the dolphins. I'm always so amazed that creatures are as kind to humans as they are, considering all the blunders and hardships we cause them. Thank you for the pretties this morning. Wishing you endorphins and dopamine this week-end! (giggling) hugs, de
Enjoyed all of the videos - so great to see father & daughter reunited! Some of the quotes always resonate with me. Thank you for that, too, Linda. Have a wonderful weekend!
Terrific videos today, Linda. Dolphins are almost human sometime. I've been on boats where they follow along and do little tricks for us! Amazing. And there's nothing so amazing as finding a long lost family member! I sated with all the good things in this post. Thank you and have a super weekend!
Linda, The dolphins/fishermen symbiotic relationship is quite amazing. The dolphins realized that the fishermen's efforts would in turn make fishing easier for themselves. As for the 50's farmhouse, life is a circle sometimes. Those farmhouse sinks are really popular again and retro looking appliances are now available in the marketplace. Homeless folks are a huge problem here in the USA and easy solutions are hard to come by...sad. As for Eastwell Manor, we're planning a trip to Scotland and Ireland and our wives wanted to stay in a place that looks much like that in Ireland. I killed off the idea after learning that rooms started at 495 Euros! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Hello Linda!:) So nice to see you again.:) Amazing Dolphin video, I so enjoyed watching it, and the reunion of father and daughter. My favourite quote today is Collective Evolution. Thank you!:)
Annie and her dad Ray give a whole new meaning to unconditional love. Such a touching story. Life is not easy, and for some, it gets to be too much, and so they find a way to escape from its unbearable pressures. I sincerely hope that father and daughter can share sweet moments from now on.
A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms. - Zen Shin...I learned a long time ago to compare myself only to myself. Kind of like weighing yourself on the same scale, which I also do!:)
Thanks for all the inspiration! Happy weekend, my friend!
"Gratitude is an easy route to finding joy and happiness inside. No matter the circumstance, there is always something we have to be grateful for." How very true! Give thanks and praise for all our blessings, however small, always.
Hello Linda Happy Friday and Happy Weekend Wishes too! Another lovely selection for us, I just adore dolphins ...
I really thought these words on the quote were worth thinking about "Don't become preoccupied with your child's academic ability but instead teach them to sit with those sitting alone. Teach them to be kind. Teach them to offer their help. Teach them to be a friend to the lonely. Teach them to encourage others. Teach them to think about other people. Teach them to share. Teach them to look for the good. This is how they'll change the world."
That really is amazing about the dolphins helping the fishermen. It's one of those "have to see to believe" things. A touching video about the father/daughter reunion, too.

I really like the one about gratitude at all times. My sis passed this morning and it's true, I have found so many things to be thankful for even at this time! Thank you for your caring comments on my blog! Loving hugs!
Hi Linda! That video of the puppy and the little girl just melted my heart. What a special bond they have, and I'm sure their connection goes past the physical. So inspiring! The meme with the gold and lights is so pretty...you might see it on my Twitter account! Lol! Ceil
So true: "The darkest place I've ever seen was inside me, and nothing scared me more." Even though I still have days when I fall into this dark place, I've lived long enough to know that there is ALWAYS a way out. I'm very grateful that I never took my life and survived to experience all the wonderful days I would have missed. That's what pulls me through now. Have a wonderful day!!!

Animals are amazing. I wonder why people find the need to hurt or kill them helplessly.

ReplyDeleteI like this the best, Don't let what you can't do interfere with what you can do.
ReplyDeleteIndeed we should focus on what we can do, not what we can't do
I remember my mum and dad's house looking similar to the one depicted growing up- same furniture, wallpaper and ornaments.
ReplyDelete1950's house video is so lovely!!
ReplyDeleteToday I don't forget 'Don't let what I can't do interfere with what I can do!'
