For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Keep Anxiety from Exhausting You...breathe. One of the biggest culprits in perpetuating anxiety is shallow breathing that is too rapid. Pay attention to your breathing, and take slow, deep, invigorating breaths. Nourish your body. Eat healthy, protein rich foods throughout the day. Eating small portions frequently, provides a steadier stream of energy than consuming just three large meals. Replace sodas and energy drinks with water, flavoured water and tea. Renew and refresh by taking breaks. If possible, step outside and take in fresh air. Climbing stairs, doing jumping jacks, and running in place all provide bursts of energy because they get the heart pumping and lower the stress hormone cortisol. Nurture joy. Life can be heavy and busy. Every day, make time (even 10 minutes) to engage in something you love.l
There are four things that you cannot recover in life: the stone after it's thrown, the word after it's said, the occasion after it's missed and the time after it's gone...so live life to the fullest and regret nothing.
I would like to get that tiny air-conditioner. So convenient to carry around. I don't think we have it here. I enjoyed the bird video. They are so fast in their movement!
Hello Linda, thanks for the healthy advice and great quotes. I choose peace too. The bird video is cute. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
For someone who has suffered Anxiety and Stress ALL their lives, l am very impressed with the Anxiety statement..! Hope you don't mind..but l'm going to steal it, for one of my folders! Thankyou...! :).
Hello Linda, Many thanks for dropping a kind comment on my blog! How lovely to find peace and energy on yours! As you could see, I am following your advice and travel a lot... Life is short indeed!!! Keep well and enjoy the new week :)
Dear Linda - those sweet birds are such fun to see. Pinned the quote "The happiest people don't have the best of everything..." Such wisdom in these words of wisdom. Friend hope you have a blessed day. Hugs!
The healthy Place sayings are really worth taking notice of.
I did though love "I woke up. I have clothes to wear. I have running water. I have food to eat. Life is good. I am thankful." So many people do not appreciate what they have and complain about what they do not have. I am very thankful for life everyday. Have a good week Diane
Good morning, Linda! How heartwarming to see people coming together to help another human being. It happens so often. Why don't we see more of this in the news? Well, I guess that's why so many come to your blog! Another great collection! Thank you, dear Linda!!
I've been to the doc a couple of times in my life, to remove built up earwax. It's embarrassing! I like that mini air-conditioner. Maybe a bowl of ice with a fan behind it may do the trick too!
Hi, Linda! I agree with the video about ear cleaning. I had massive build up of wax over the years and my doctor had to use an ear wash tool. It didn't hurt but took her several tries to remove it. I've been using coconut oil in my nose and it works wonders to sleep in our dry climate. so now I'm using it occasionally in my ears too.
Linda, I should have sent you a congratulatory note re: Canada's 150th birthday! We love Canada... That tiny air conditioner is a smart little product. Love the story about the veteran getting a new home...happens frequently in this part of the USA. The bird video was very cool and I especially liked that bird with an orange breast and head. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I would love to buy that tiny air conditioner for my girl to use at her school in the jungle. Electricity runs on generator and may not be enough to support the real thing...and though it is a tad cooler in the jungle, our tropical weather can be very very hit sometimes.
Like the tiny air conditioner for hot weather indoors. We occasionally get heatwaves here but the last time I needed a fan for cool air was about 6 years ago or longer... so not usually a problem keeping cool.
Dearest Linda, thank you for another gift of yours, given your blog-posts are always such precious gifts to us all, and I'm so grateful to you for posting such amazing, interesting, touching videos and quotes !
Wishing you a most lovely remainder of your week I'm sending hugs and ever much love to you, Sweetie!
Another great collection of videos and quotes ~ loved all those pretty birds. But best of all was the excellent advice on how to not be exhausted by anxiety. Sending you lots of love and hugs, Linda!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Here Come the Birds, beautiful Linda!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the tiny air-conditioner in your video, but I've got 2 tiny fans and they serve their purpose well.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing is to wake up, and be grateful to God for that. Next step is to be grateful for food, clothes, running water etc...
Love all the quotes☺
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Linda!

ReplyDeleteYes, it can be quite dangerous to clean your ears in the incorrect way. Eardrums are very sensitive.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear about communities reaching out to wounded or homeless veterans. And the warning about using Q-tips in ears is worth watching, too.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll try not to use Q-Tips. I'm guilty of this.
