Millions of people have decided not to be sensitive. They have grown thick skins around themselves just to avoid being hurt by anybody. But it is at great cost. Nobody can hurt them, but nobody can make them happy, either. - Osho
Hi, friend Linda ... tried that egg in a micro wave ... ya ... no ... as egg acted like a small bomb in there ... The PTSD Irak video is very moving ... There are many forms of PTSD regarding jobs, family and other social connections ... The pig video is down right cute ... I always wanted a miniature pot belly pig in my house, but my husband wouldn't let me ... so I settled for cat Theo ... Wishing you a very good week end as well ... Love, cat.
Hello Linda, I've gained a few new hints about cooking eggs in the microwave... thanks! Should be nice and easy :D) Love all your quotes and good thoughts. Hoping your weekend is lovely and thanks for all your visits and kind words, always appreciated xx
Loved the videos (I remember Aunt Clara) &, of course, the lovely inspirational quotes. Thanks for a great end to the week, Linda! Have a safe, happy weekend!!
As you know I cannot play videos, but I was intrigued by How to Make Eggs in the Microwave!!!! Make them, or cook them LOL Wish I could have played it to find out. As always thanks so much for sharing great sayings. Hope your weekend is a good one Diane
Linda, Now that pig has a great life! Pampered and treated like one of the kids... Nice story of recovery and adaptation. The homeless veteran and his dog and cat is a bit unusual...especially the cat part of it! For a cat to follow them like a dog is quite unusual, especially in the snow and also because cats (other than lions) are not pack animals. As for cooking my eggs, I'll stick to a frying pan with butter and a little half and half. It makes for fluffier eggs. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
El vídeo del cerdo me gusto pero es una especie a la que no veo muy de animal de compañía. Soy mas clásico del perro y el gato los cuales si se crían juntos son como hermanos.
Great that a pig is taken so lovingly ;-) Incomprehensible that this stephan is homeless. Very nice as he walks his dog and cat. I could not figure out what he was breaking the connection. The video of Aunt Clara's Visit is a very nice hahahahah ... I wish you a very nice weekend Linda. Greetings, Helma
I am one of those people who choose to sleep when things go wrong and I don't know what to do. I wake up refreshed and with my head full of ideas for solving the problem that was bothering me.
The young actress in the video "Aunt Clara's visit" is a lovely TV comedy actress who used to be very popular in the past. I forgot her name but not her face and talent.
Happy Friday, dear Linda! I'm trying to imagine having a pig as a pet. I know they are very intelligent, but they're oh so big! How lovely that this pig found a loving home. I was amazed to see the cat hiking in the vet video. I know that nature is healing, but I don't think I've ever seen a cat going along with hikes into nature. Watching "Bewitched" seems like observing another lifetime. Times have certainly changed. I never got Samantha's reluctance to use a wiggle of her nose to take care of routine things like dishes. Just give me a magic nose, please! Wishing you a happy weekend, my special Montreal friend! Sending you lots of love and hugs!
Aunt Clara was so darn cute, wasn't she? Just the sweetest aunt anybody could witch could wish for;)
Such reflective words of advice in all your quotes for this post. I really enjoyed them all, but if I had to pick a favourite, it would be the one by Osho, as I find it to be truly timely in the world we are living in today.
Thanks for sharing, my friend and for spreading the wisdom worldwide!

How cute the pig was, and I'm glad it got a new home, Linda :)
