My Montreal Photos

I absolutely love to take walks and enjoy bringing my camera with me when I do.  I hadn't done this for a while, and realized how much I missed doing it, as I find it very relaxing and therapeutic.  I love nature as well as exploring Montreal and all of its beauty, so I hope that you will all enjoy the photos I take on my walks.  :)

I am still at the learning stages of taking photos and just have a small Kodak digital camera, but I am enjoying the exercise and taking the photos and sharing them here!

I couldn't resist taking this photo which, for most of you is just a large truck.  Well, indeed it is.  However, it has English written on it and comes from New Brunswick, which is something you don't see too often here in Quebec.  (well, not the English, anyway), as Montreal is the third largest French speaking city in the world.  :)

This next photo wasn't easy...I am still not fully comfortable with using the zoom in feature, and I needed to do it for this photo of the two crows.  :)

For this next photo...I was hoping to capture the clouds in the glass of the building and looks as if I did.

I hope you all enjoyed today's post.  Thank you all so much for visiting me here.  I really enjoy and appreciated reading your thoughts.  Please click on the "comments" link at the end of my post to share.

  4. Really wonderful composition on photos! Interesting to know your city hardly come across by English words... the photos are very pretty and I liked more the last two one on sky and clouds.

    Keep it up Linda :)

    1. Thanks so much, Ashok. Of the photos of the buildings I have shared here I must agree with you on the architecture being a disappointment. :)

  6. You got some really good shots there. I found it interesting that Montreal is mainly French speaking. Do you speak French? Do they teach both French and English in schools?

    1. My mother tongue is English...but yes, I am fluent in French and speak and write both languages. I speak it much better than I write it. :) Montreal is in Quebec, which is the only sole French speaking province in Canada. Many people speak both languages. We do have English schools, yes, and both English and French are taught in the schools. All the street signs are in French.
