Montreal Views

I took a nice long walk today and headed to the waterfront.  I have been having arthritis pain in my right shoulder for the last three days...and it is constant.  Your prayers and thoughts on my behalf would be most appreciated.

For this post I chose a relaxing piece of music with bird songs.  Hope you enjoy it!

Here are the photos I took today on my walk.  The first photo has a squirrel in a tree.  The last two photos are of the sunset.  I haven't had much experience taking sunset photos so I hope you all enjoy these.  :)

The shop (Sublime) on the left is a hairdresser, the shop on the right is a dog groomer.

For those of you who may not have seen it...this is Canada Post's new mailbox.  :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts...which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  10. That post box would have me thinking I had the D.T.s!

And the dog groomer reminded me of when mother was visiting us in France and, seeing a shop sign 'toilettage' asked how people know when their dogs would need the toilet!

  13. Hi Linda,

I enjoyed your sunset pictures but the most I like the mailbox. That's because I'm a postwoman. Our boxes are just plain red and they can use some nice texts or colours.

Hope your artitis isn't going to be worse, I know it is horrible to feel that pain everyday. But you're a positive woman and looks for the beauty in life. Thumbs up!

    Regards from Holland,
    Marianne

  14. I noticed a gull in the waterfront picture. Our gulls are preparing for the long migration to South America. They spend their days flying in circles over the parking lots at shopping centers getting their wing muscles strong for the 5,000 mile journey. Every year they finally take off in late November. I always feel sorry for them.

    1. Hi Ms. Sparrow, I know what you mean. The gulls stay here in Montreal all winter. They love McDonald's and are often seen flying overheard hoping that people will drop some french fries. :) Thanks so much for your comment.

  15. Thanks for the tour, Linda. I have to agree, that mailbox rocks! Happy to see Canadian postal service is so cool.

Hope you are feeling better, maybe you need to come south, stay out of the cold.

    1. Hi Carol, thanks so much for your kind comment. I think you're right, it seems to be the cold that is a contributing factor. :)

  16. Hi Linda, thanks for visiting my blog today. You have taken some nice photos for us, but what a funky Post Mailbox! I wonder what the good people of England would have said if someone had suggested we get something similar here...I like it!
I can relate to your pains, I have severe arthritis myself and the winter is a hard time to get through. Stay warm and keep moving! Take care :-)
