Waltz Song and Christmas Store

Hi everyone!  Yesterday I posted a video of Millicent Phillips...not sure if any of you had a chance to hear this young girl sing or not, so I am posting another song by her...she was 13 when she sang this in 1938!

Thanks so much for all your responses to my last post, it seems that some of you have the same issues.  I am on the do not call list and this doesn't seem to deter some of them. I don't have call display, so I think I will continue letting the machine pick up my calls.  My friends are aware that I do this and as some of you have mentioned, if it is important, people will leave a message.

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took in December 2010....it is a Christmas store in Old Montreal!  They are open year round and celebrate Christmas in selling Christmas related items all year.  Great and fun store!  Just click on the photo to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. I like the wintry picture of the Christmas store. There's a Christmas store at the beach we visit each Spring which stays open year round as well. They have some wonderful Christmas decorations.

  2. We are on the Do Not Call List, too! They don't seem to care anymore. I think the rule breakers probably never get prosecuted and they feel free to do whatever they want.

  4. What a voice that young girl had. I wonder if she went on to enjoy fame and fortune. The name is vaguely familiar.

Love your wintry pic. I'm not going to show it to my wife, though, or we'd probably be on a trip to Old Montreal! :-)

Thanks for all of your very kind comments, Linda. They are much appreciated!

  5. I don't have caller ID on my phone either. I don't know who's calling until I answer the phone. If it's a recorded message, I just hang up.
