Do it with Joy!

Hi everyone!  I thought that this video was just fantastic and wanted to share it with you all!  It is short, 4 minutes in length, but well worth your time, in my opinion!  There is no speaking in the video so you don't need to worry about understanding any language.  :)

I get excited when I see people enjoying themselves like this, especially in the workplace!  So often we see people going to work and not enjoying their work, which is so sad.  I consider myself blessed to have had, for the most part, jobs that I really enjoyed!  Of course, though, this doesn't mean that it was easy.  I have always felt that bringing a smile and a positive attitude can really change things that can otherwise be dismal, and seeing the guy in this video shows how this can be, in action!  He obviously enjoys his job!  Not only does he enjoy his job, but he brightens people's days with his smile and positive attitude, as you will see.  He also has a group cheering him on, standing and watching him, and I can see myself as being one of those people!  His enthusiasm is infectious!

So what about yourself...if you work, and if you feel comfortable sharing this, what type of work do you do?  Do you enjoy it?  If you are retired and no longer working, are you enjoying your time in a way that makes you feel happy and relaxed?

  1. That would be tiring! They must be more civilized in their driving there; I bet he wouldn't last five minutes in New York City!

    1. It really depends on how long his shift is...but when you bring such a positive attitude to anything, it really makes things more fun! I bet he would last in New York City, and even in Montreal! :)

  3. Before I retired, I worked for a large insurance company. I was so stressed that I could hardly wait to leave. I now have a volunteer job at the lobby desk at a clinic where I can relax and be helpful and friendly to everybody. I've been there for 5 years and I love it!

    Aujourd'hui je me considère chanceuse...

    Gros bisous à vous

  14. Hi Linda, Love seeing the cop at work. He does enjoy his job.. I'm retired now--and really enjoying life more than ever before. However, I worked all of my life and loved what I did even though I was a work-a-holic and worked WAY too many hours back then. I wouldn't do that if I had it to do over again.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  15. Hi, Linda!
I wonder if he has enough energy to go dancing after he clocks out!
I spent 30 years as a waitress in a local popular family restaurant. After all that time the customers had come to feel like family!
These days I volunteer at our local Humane Society several afternoons per week with the dogs. The dogs have never complained about any meal that I've served them. I LOVE it!
