Une très belle photo de ce groupe...
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
Aujourd'hui je ne parviens pas à visionner votre vidéo. Je pense que cela provient de mon pc ! grrrrrrr
Good morning Linda.
ReplyDeleteUnforgettable movie and a great photograph.
Costas
So nice to see! Like the quote too. I like Judy Garland, but it was some problem with the video...
ReplyDeleteI loved listening to the music, and the tender voice of Judy Garland. What a star! The St Francis de Sales quote is one I try to live by, and it has worked well for me so far. A very good day to you Linda, and thank you for my trip down memory lane:)
ReplyDeleteWise text to an excellent photography, Linda. A kiss.
ReplyDeleteooo, i had never heard of this judy garland song before (i guess she's most known for 'over the rainbow'). it's lovely =) and that's a nice quote from st francis too. it's been a difficult month for me at work, lots of stress, so i do need to remind myself about inner peace, thanks :D
ReplyDeleteJudy had a wonderful voice this was one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteGreat Quote !
I really like the quote and I should pay attention to it.
ReplyDeleteLlamas in Linda's Lair? Cute! And Judy Garland - what a voice she had. And such a tragic life. So many great performers have been lost to drink and drugs. I guess they have such easy access and so much pressure they seek ways to ease their minds.
ReplyDeleteWe have an alpaca farm nearby. They're related to llamas, I believe, but are smaller and their fur/hair is very silky and prized for beautiful garments.
BTW, we've had lots of April showers recently which is good as central Florida, what with all the forests, tends to catch fire if it's too dry!
Love your comments today!
Nice shot, Linda. I don't have the place for one of those… :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm not sure you would be interested by how I usually describe my life. Let's say that it begins like this: "Better be in a hurry because I started too late". Whatever… just joking.
it's hard to believe april is almost over
ReplyDeleteI love the quote, and it goes so well with a photo from the farm. I need to remember that quote!
ReplyDeleteMore animals! Yay!
ReplyDeleteWonderful song and a fabulous voice. We need those April showers to bring up the spring tulips!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I hurry, it NEVER comes to any good, something bad always happens.
ReplyDeleteI read that quote in the midst of trying a new recipe....steam coming from my ears!
ReplyDeleteI do love the animals, beautiful critters! I love the quotes and photo. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI didn't quite know what the animals were. I am guessing they are a different form of deer than ours.
ReplyDeleteHi Larry, there are indeed deer. Young deer. They were a bit spooked due to the rain that was about to hit Montreal...:)
DeleteOur April showers have mostly been snow showers but I guess it could be much worse ;) Peace is such a priceless thing these days! I believe it's more valuable each and every day. Bless you my friend.
ReplyDeleteMusic from our childhood, Linda...
ReplyDeleteA nice visit at the farm !
Lie(f)s.
I was 13 years old in 1956, I know it was the exciting time of the rock n' roll revolution for which I was grateful, but there was still a lot of wonderful music around. As a youngster we'd always play an old 78 of Judy singing 'Have yourself a merry little Christmas'
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories (another one Judy sang)
Thanks, Linda, for correcting me re the animals. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is, "Oh dear me!" :))
April Showers is such a sweet, old-fashioned song. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe animals letting out for spring maybe? Such a lovely time now, when everything start to sprout, flowers.. and animals love this season too :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photo! :)
Amazing quote, I am so lucky to be able to live my life in this way!! Thanks for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteLove the quote. I wish more people - especially myself - would slow down. :)
ReplyDeletej'aime beaucoup ces phrases, prendre la vie tranquillement. J'aime le calme, bisous
ReplyDeleteLaurence, Opale et Sonye
