ReplyDeleteIf there's one place in the world that I love it's Ireland! This brings back so many good memories! Love the pictures my friend!
ReplyDeleteA very nice song in your video. Together framed with the beautiful dahlias make this blog a completely enjoyable to watch and listen.
ReplyDeleteRegards, Helma
i wish i could help you identify the flowers, linda, but i'm a complete idiot when it comes to flowers, heh :D nice tune in the video, it sounds like the kind of folk song that kids of all ages would love!
ReplyDeleteDear Linda - love the Irish Rover's - my dad played that record so many years ago - brought back lovely memories. Your picture of the flowers is so beautiful too. Just catching up on everyone's blog since taking a vacation break. Thanks for bringing back such a sweet memory. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter which flowers, Linda... Thank you for the bouquet !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Esa solitaria flor roja, destacando sobre el verde, me gusta. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but I'll try to identify them. I think the first one is a Dahlia, the second looks like a Rhus and the third I guess is a Zinnia. I'm not sure, but it's my guess.

The flowers are so beautiful. My wife is part Irish and she loves the Rovers.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I remember this being played in Ireland in the late sixties and early seventies, and all the showbands played it at all their gigs. Though the Irish Rovers were a Canadian group, all the members were Irish born. Great memories.
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant colours of the flowers. A far cry from our current greyish look and feel thanx to the horrid haze.
