  12. We are cat people, so I really liked the cat videos, especially the cautious kitten and parrot. If you're a kitten, you have to be very careful around feathered friends like a parrot with a sharp beak. Plus, the instinct might be to eat the darn bird! :)

  16. Hi, dear Linda! It's a good thing the parrot attempted to befriend the kitten before it became a full grown cat. I shudder to think of the damage a cat's claws could do if it pounced on the bird, even as a form of play as cats tend to do. It was heartwarming and inspiring to see that other tiny, wretched kitten respond to tender loving care and grow into a healthy young cat with dog friends.

Thank you very much, dear friend Linda, and have a happy Monday!

  21. Hello Linda,

Excellent videos. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one and I could not help laughing out loud in the last scene when the girl ran after him, snatched his umbrella and walked away. Too good.

It is true most of us regret the past and worry about the future and forget to live in the present.

It is also said that the past is a cancelled cheque, the future is a promissory note but the present is real cash which we can use for our benefit.

What we do today really counts.

    Best wiishes

  23. Without warning, I have firmly become one of those "cute animal" people (loved the parrot and the kitten).

  24. I think I'll set my sparkle switch! The video about the umbrella is really cute, but I love the one with the bird and kitten. When the kitten is full grown that bird would be lunch!

  40. the poster on yelling at a dog made me smile ... and it might very well be true! food for thought, in more ways than one :D

  41. I should keep this in mind: A caring heart that listens is often valued than an intelligent mind that talks.
    Have a nice day Linda:)

  44. LOL.....yea....no point yelling at dog barking. :p

Got a neighbour's dog that barks every 6.30am. Well, guess have to treat that as a free wake up alarm clock then :)

  45. So true about yelling at a dog not to bark - at least our dog, who is a million miles away from timid. I've seen it work with shy dogs, but not our Miss Annie (not that I yell at her - I don't, I just mean in general a raised voice is not the best way to reach her usually).

Many hugs & thanks for both of your caring blog comments today,
    ♥ Jessica

  46. I also laughed at the dog quote. Some cats are very cautious animals.
