Tuesday Cheer
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
1930's Hollywood Fashion Show
Homemade Burger Recipe
CN8 American Diner History
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. This made me laugh so hard I had to put it on my blog! "Looks like Donald Trump's hair finally decided to run off to seek a better life..." :)
Salmon makes you both smarter and happier. Eating salmon on a consistent basis reduces the risk of depression and dementia. Basically, the brain is nearly 60% fat. Most of that is the omega-3 fatty acid DHA - found in salmon. So eating salmon helps the brain stay fat and happy.
The just for laughs gag is hilarious! I loved the way that chap kept running around to remove the tube from her mouth – so funny. How nice to know that Donald Trump's hair is alive and well and living a better life. Brilliant as always, thanks for brightening my day. xx
I enjoyed the 1930's Hollywood Fashion Show. The starlets in that group that I remember best are Evalyn Knapp, a beauty who co-starred with comedic acting legend Joe E. Brown in a movie that I enjoyed watching a few years ago, Fireman, Save My Child (1932), Dorothy Layton, Gloria Stuart and, of course, the most famous of the bunch, Ginger Rogers. I enjoyed the history of American diners and was happy to learn that there is a movement to save them from destruction and restore them to their original charm. My favorite old hangout, The Shady Dell, was a lot like a diner contained within a large Victorian house.
How interesting it is to see a fashion show from that long ago. I find it funny that it was a "fashion show," yet they spent more time showing the women's faces than their actual fashions!
Hi Linda, egg in burger looks easy and simple. Would love to give it a try. Lol! this is cute - "Looks like Donald Trump's hair finally decided to run off to seek a better life"
Dear Linda - your "Just for Gags" got me smiling for sure. The 1930's fashion show makes me wonder why we don't have pretty dresses like that still today. Such an elegant era. Thanks for the wonderful quotes too...especially the positive thoughts. Nice reminder that we can choose what we think. Hugs friend. Have a lovely day.
I can't imagine being in charge of oxygen intake and seeing the woman blowing up lol. I liked all the sayings - I especially like the Paulo Coelho and saved it off. One of my fave snacks at night is Cheetos...Now thanks to you, I won't be able to have one without seeing that image of the cheese curl, lol.
Hi Linda, I really had a lot to read and watch and I really enjoyed it again. Bijnder funny movies and beautiful text pictures. In this blog, even a lot of films which includes the fashion show earlier, the egg into the hamburger etc. Thank you, I am again very cheerful :-)
Loved the gag, Linda! You gave me my first hearty laugh of the day! I've seen The Donald's hair on the move before ~ It's so funny. I'm going to be watching the Republican debate tonight for sure! Actually I always watch them, although I am a registered Democrat. Have a good one!
