Wednesday Wonders and Only a Few Days Left on the Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I had posted a new poll on movies at the upper right hand column of my blog, and there are only a few days left to vote in this poll. If you have already voted, thank you, and if you haven't I would love to see more results in the poll before it ends. Thank you so much! :) The videos I have selected for this post are:
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
A 1940's Vintage Guide to Posture
Pet Goose Plays Soccer, Jumps Rope
1926 Black Bottom Dance
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. If someone has offended you, insulted you, or disappointed you, let it go! If you are remembering all the ways you have been hurt or forgotten, let it go! Ask yourself, what good does it do for me to hold on to this? - Iyanla Vanzant
You can't control everything. Sometimes you just need to relax and have faith that things will work out. Let go a little and just let life happen. - Kody Keplinger
Good morning little sunbeam, I am your source, the sun. I will be handling all your problems today. I won't be needing your help, so relax and shine, have a great day!
Sometimes thing work out for the best, when you stop worrying and stressing...and simply go with the flow of your heart. Accept what is, forget what was a gratefully embrace what is to come.
The clown video brings to mind one of my favourite songs - Emile Sande's Clown, a very sad song. Somehow, it makes me sad to see clowns - makes me thing of the sadness behind the painted smiles.
I love the 'Black Bottom Dance' and the 'Guide to posture' videos, they're both amazing to me !
Your posts always fill my heart with joy, thank you. oh,and I've voted my favourite kind of movies, have a wonderful rest of the week, my darlind Linda With dear love Dany
I really enjoyed the Just for Laughs Gag (Love this gags) and the Black Bottom Dance..so cute!! I am so happy I found you..I am feeling better after visiting your Blog. Love the quote: The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams...wow! so deep
Hello Linda!:) Thank you for your kind comment about my silly blog post mistake. The goose vídeo is my favourite today. We have geese on the farm, but not trained like this one, what fun! Have a nice day.:)
It's rather strange, but I can't remember the last time someone talked about posture. It used to be a common topic: Mothers and teachers would say, "Sit up straight!" "Stop slouching.' And they were right. Good posture affects the entire body. I tend to be a sloucher so I needed this lesson today. Merci!
Hi Linda, another very enjoyable post. Love the goose and the posture video. I can imagine myself sitting in all those posture! I am never one to sit still. Lol!
That was a lot of stuff for one post. Some good advice and sayings here. If we dwell on past wrongs, it's easy to miss out on the present and the things we can learn and enjoy today. Letting go of the negatives we encounter along our life journey is less baggage we have to be burdened with as we head on home.
Those bad Montreal police! My second hearty laugh of the day, Linda! I remember when Tipper Gore started advocating for access to better mental health care, affordable mental health care, and tackling the stigma attached to mental illness. One of the things I admire most about you, Linda, is your willingness to be open with your struggles about depression and difficulties that you have experienced. We need to talk about these issues, so they can't be swept away. Put a face on it, make it real. Have a lovely day, my brave friend!
Hi, dear Linda! Forgive me for being late today. I needed to travel and just arrived at my destination. I laughed out loud when the gag cops put the clown wig and nose on those prank victims. Think how much has changed in the world since that 1940s guide to correct posture. Everything is more relaxed and casual nowadays and not always for the better. I loved watching Diana the windsurfing, soccer playing, rope skipping goose. When animals are raised by humans they come to think of humans as their parents and try to imitate their behavior.
I enjoyed watching that vintage posture lesson, and she's very right about it! hahahahahahaha. This just so much reminds me of "the girl with dragon tattoo" hahaha, and those hitler days and some old filipino movies!
Hello Linda, thanks for visiting my blogpost on my return as i've been absent for a few months. This is the first time we met, so glad to meet you. I guess we have a common condition and that was great, hahaha, osteoarthritis. Mine just arrived last month, but i have HBP too! Anyway, i am grateful for your visit to my NZ post, and i also appreciate the lists of wonderful quotes you have in your post. Have a lovely day and be happy all the time. That produce endorphines for our well-being.
