Monday Mood Lift
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Starved, Scared Dog Transformed by Love
Hummingbird Hatching
White Winter Hymnal - Effusion A Capella (this is an amazing singing group from here in Montreal...McGill University. They are amazing!)
This is what Happens when you Leave a Tetherball in the Forest :)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Life is too short to start your day with broken pieces of yesterday; it will definitely destroy your wonderful today and ruin your great tomorrow. - Unknown
Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt. - Liam Neeson
Excellent sayings and inspirational quotes. I also enjoyed all the videos. The poor dog in the first video was so emaciated. I'm surprised he was able to stand. I'm so glad he was rescued.
The staving dog video made me cry so hard, friend Linda ... saw one like that in Victoria, BC a couple of years ago ... he was tied to bench and all he could do was either standing or sitting in a water puddle ... after 2 hours of watching him I called the police and they/or someone picked him up ... I do not know what happened to him after that ... I named him Bingo and sure hope Bingo is alright ... Life is like that, friend Linda ... either it's bingo or not, hmmm? Love always, cat.
Dear Linda, I thank you wholeheartedly for sharing another so amazing post of yours, I so loved the video about Hummingbirds, I truly felt touched and moved :)
Wishing you a most lovely new week, I'm sending blessings on the remainder of your October
That poor dog, thank goodness someone rescued her. Hummingbirds are so tiny and fragile it’s amazing how they survive. That ram is hilarious, but I guess he is trying to protect the rest of the flock. Lovely video’s again this morning Linda, thank you. Wise words from Liam Neeson too
It was cruel to leave the dog staving and homeless. Thankfully someone rescued him and showed him love. Wonderful quotes Linda. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
I could hardly watch the video of the starving dog. I'm so glad it had a happy ending. The angry ram video was funny. You've discovered my motto: Procrastinate now; don't put it off. :)
Hi Linda, I thought I lost your blog and went searching in my comments and found you there back in December 2016. It is nice to see you here. You always have something good to share and wanted to stop by and say hello. You detail everything so nicely and the videos are always wonderful to watch. I hope you have a terrific week. Take care. HUGS
Hi Linda! I enjoyed the video of the acapella singers. So clear and lovely! And the quote from Liam Neeson is so true. Love is the only thing in the world that doesn't hurt. Such a heart-felt reflection by him. Happy Monday! Ceil
Linda, Great story about the rescued dog and its recovery. Love, time and food... It's sad how some people treat animals. Hummingbird hatching = solid camera work! Nice a capella group from McGill U. We have a great group near us at Cleveland State University in Cleveland TN. That ram was fixated on that tethered ball and he beat the hell out of it! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I was so glad the dog was ok at the end. Some people treat animals terrible. Enjoyed the other videos also. Great quotes. Have a blessed day and a wonderful week. Madeline
I do not think he's an angry ram- but rather he's having fun with the ball. Have a lovely day- and thanks for the video about the dog. Humans can be good.
Positive thinking evokes more energy, more initiative and more happiness. I try to think positive. I delete negative words and sentences from my language. Greetings :)
A wondrous post, Linda. Those videos were superb, especially the starving dog and the tetherball in the forest. And I liked the posters, too. My favorite one was about how you should not put off procrastinating! I'm going to start now! :) Hope you have a super week ahead!
Hello Linda! Oh my goodness, that video of the poor forgotten dog...Oh how that touched my heart! We have had some close to that. It's so rewarding to see them turn into such loving pets and family members as that man has done with that sweet girl.
I enjoyed all the videos, and the tether ball in the forest! Wow. I wonder sometimes the things that happen in our forest? : )
Loved every one of those quotes, I don't know where you find them but they are fantastic! : D
Hoping all is well and the housing is looking up, prayers are still being remembered dear friend, as you must know, God is there with you.
Love and prayers across the miles to you! (((hugs))) Amelia
My husband just saw the rescued little girl and he reminded me of how much she looked like our hound when she was also rescued! : ) They are so transformed we often even forget!
Hello Linda I enjoyed the video of the Effusion a capella singers. I agree with the words 'I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers' - Anne of Green Gables.
Terry and I were both laughing at the ram playing with the tethered ball. I was really glad to see the skinny dog recover. It was hard to see it so sick and weak. The hummingbird egg next to coffee beans really gave me an appreciation for how tiny their eggs are. Beautiful music as well. You shared some great videos and inspirational quotes today. Thanks, dear Linda. Sending you big hugs!
Hi, Linda! Apologies for my lack of comments recently - thank you for your sweet visits to my blog - I must say the tether ball antics of the angry ram are marvelous! It goes to show that certain character "traits" are very instilled in animals from youth - and so grateful that we humans have the option of changing ours if we really want to! Thanks for the inspirations today! love, de

ReplyDeleteAll these videos were wonderful, but the hummingbirds: wow! So tiny! And the glimpse of the first time that they were attempting flight was precious.
ReplyDeleteThe ram made me laugh.
