Weekend Well Wishes
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Mr. Cardinal Wants his Peanut!

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. - Henry David Thoreau
If you're struggling or feeling unhappy, know you're not alone. We're all in this together, working on an amazingly awesome life; trying to stay focused on what's good, finding ways to feel better and keep on moving on.
Great picks, Linda! I'm so glad that the elephants were rescued. These guys are heros. What a wonderful idea to de-stress students with the help of therapy cats.
What a super post! I've always wondered about the difference between bar soap and body wash. I don't really like body wash. But, hey, whatever gets you clean, right? Some fascinating posters here, too. I don't mind differences of opinion either, so long as everyone realizes I'm right! :) And I worry a lot about people who claim "faith" is better than science. Faith had better be based on reason and the scientific method or one can get lost rather quickly. it's goo to had kitties, though, to help us over the rough spots! And may you have a super weekend filled with joy and peace and little kittens!
Hello dear Linda, What a nice movie of Mr Cardinal. A wonderful bird and great to see how he stole the peanut. There are many special birds on that movie. So nice!!
Hello, Linda! Love the Cardinal video. I was happy to see the elephants rescued. I always enjoy reading the wise words and quotes. Happy Friday, enjoy your day and weekend.
Those people who rescued the elephants are heroes. The elephants needed help and those people provided it. A wonderful ending. Favorite quote today and it's so true: Strong people don't put people down. They lift them up.
Thanks for sharing, Linda and have a wonderful weekend.
I enjoyed all your videos this morning, Linda! I was watching the little bird in the background when the cardinal was checking out the vicinity. I knew the moment the cardinal left, it would swoop in for a bit of the booty. The elephant video was heartwarming. I can't quit saying, "I don't have time." I don't ~ LOL I have nightmares about not having enough time ~ LOL I have come to realize that I have always struggled against the clock and that it probably comes from being ADHD and a perfectionist. Not s good combination. LOL Have a good one, my dear friend!
Hi Linda and thank you, loved the Cardinal video, they are such a stunning bird and I see them on a regular basis on a gents blog from Canada. Glad those poor Elephants were rescued. I am young at heart, just not in body. All the best. John
Linda, Great video showing the bluebird, squirrel and cardinal grabbing the peanuts. Good idea for filming birds close up. As for soap, I'm sticking with bar soap...but maybe I'll switch to Dove. Can't stand using body washes! Love the elephant rescue...second one in recent weeks. Cat destressing...dog destressing...all good! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Another great post but "Quit saying you don't have time. You have time for what you make time for in life." is my favourite and oh so true. Have a great weekend Diane
I so missed your always inspiring quotes, so carefully chosen for us, to put into practice what we read about theoretically. There are too many to mention in this post, but 'No matter how old your other parts...you can always be young at heart!', I can always identify with. I have copied and pasted them for positive energy and enlightenment.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Poppy P.S.: Have the leaves peaked yet, in Montreal?
I love the be happy for no reason line. Life, even when it throws us spanners, is such a joy. I really try to live by finding the positive in each and every day. It works mostly. Sending you vey best wishes. Xx
Hi Linda. I was very taken by the quote "As for butter versus margarine, I trust cows more than chemists." Such wise words and so succinct. We try to never buy what we call "factory food" and just stick to ingredients that we can source as natural and local. If only everyone did the same.
Awesome comment, Phil ... I have been making my own butter (ghee) for years, make my own mayo and things, growing my own garden, am lucky enough to eat my own beef, chicken, fish and venison ... Greetings from AB, Canada. Love, cat.
I loved seeing those elephants get saved and I loved the video about Mr. Cardinal. It was a great, pardon the pun, bird's eye view and I may try doing something like that, too! (Rob)
Happy Monday Linda xox My gosh this quote jumped out at me as I just wrote a blog about making time for what is important xox Quit saying you don't have time. You have time for what you make time for in life. .. this is exactly what I need to start doing, making time xox
